Davonna Gilpin

Davonna is EnVi Media’s deputy editor. In her role, she acts as a support to the EIC, editors, and all teams and verticals. She started her journalism journey as a student, writing for her high school and local paper. Davonna is a longtime pop music fan and has well-documented experience in fandom & community building, fan engagement & mobilization, leading fan projects, & social media marketing in the music industry. She has assisted several major music labels and DSPs in their strategies. When she’s not busy with EnVi things, she’s most likely reading or binging on Netflix.
